After Your Visit
After Your Visit
Keep the conversation going long after the visit is over! The final leg of the Project Teach experience connects students with people in their community who can help them reach their goal of making their college and career ambitions a reality.
Activities to Keep Learning
Now is the time for students to apply what they've learned and start planning their path to college and their careers. The activities in the slide decks below will help your students process their thoughts and talk about the future in a practical way.
View the Trip Reflection slides
Students write about their college and career options, their hopes and concerns, and who they can turn to for support.
View the Explore & Research slides
Encourage your students to forge a relationship with their favorite schools by asking for promotional materials and information about the college.
View the Interviewing an Adult slides
Using the questions from their journal reflections as inspiration, students develop an interview process to get real-world advice from the adults in their lives.
View the College Fair slides
Arm your students with the tools they need to start researching careers, colleges, financial aid, and the application process.
Family Involvement
Project Teach doesn’t end with the visit! Family involvement is an important factor in motivating students to explore college and pursue a career, so we send a letter home with each student to help them continue the dialogue at home.
