On July 21, 2003 The Associated Press reported that "about 2,500 Hindus from around the world attended the dedication of a new Hindu temple (Shree Swaminarayan Spiritual and Cultural Center) at Coplay in northern Lehigh County [PA]... Guru Param Pujya Saheb of India officiated at Sunday's dedication."
