Dr. Joan Chatfield, M.M., became a Pluralism Project affiliate in 1998 while serving as the executive director of the Institute for Religion and Social Change and as program associate at the Master of Arts in Pastoral Leadership Program at Chaminade University in Honolulu, Hawaii. Dr. Chatfield aimed to map the religious landscape of the Islands, continuing work begun by the Institute.
