On August 16, 2003 the Star-Tribune reported that "the state's first Cultural Diversity Summit next week in Casper will highlight the pluralistic nature of Wyoming's people and address some of the problems that intolerance of that pluralism can cause... Presented by the Wyoming Department of Education and the Governor's Office, the conference will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Parkway Plaza, according to Jill Naylor-Yarger, a Department of Education consultant in charge of coordinating the event."
