VALENCIA, SPAIN: An intimate merging of Indian music, incense and reverence. That was how the first Hindu Temple in Valencia, located in the central Plaza del Patriarca, was inaugurated on November 23rd. The director, Swami Omkarananda, stated that this place has been created with "sharing" as the goal.

After more than twenty years of teaching yoga classes, studying and traveling around the world, this Catalan (Cataluna born) decided to settle in Valencia where he has now established a place to spread the philosophy in which mental serenity takes priority over other qualities,"the only way to change things", he commented. Thus he opened the doors of this temple where music and dance, among other activities, can be learned.
