On May 27, 2004 Deseret News reported, "The Utah County Interfaith Alliance Day of Prayer Service will be held tonight at 7 p.m. at the Community United Church of Christ, 175 N. University Ave. in Provo. The group opted to hold a special service after it learned members of the LDS church would not be allowed to lead services at a National Day of Prayer Task Force event held earlier this month. Members of at least 10 different faiths, including The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will lead the services."
