On February 2, 2005 the Daily Trojan reported, "the student community at USC is widely respected as wonderfully diverse in cultural, ethnic and political senses, but one often-overlooked feature is its religious diversity. From the Hindu Student Organization to the Muslim Students Association, from pagans to wiccans, it's all here at USC. To explore this religious diversity and learn more about the religions of the world from the perspective of USC students, it's best to start, well, where it all started - Hinduism... Holding weekly services every Wednesday in the Fish Bowl Chapel at the University Religious Center, the HSO offers a great opportunity for anyone to attend aarti and puja, which are Hindu religious services."
