On September 24, 2001, The Washington Post reported, "Sikhs Campaign Against Hate." The article begins, "Their uniforms are Gap khakis and Old Navy T-shirts. Their weapons are e-mail, lawbooks, computer spreadsheets and yellow highlighters. In a cramped and borrowed war room at George Washington University, a few dozen young Sikhs from across the area are mounting a highly regimented campaign against hate."
