Update: Washington Buddhists Work to Meet Zoning Requirements for Temple

On July 26, 2003 the King County Journal reported that "the leader of the group eager to build a Buddhist monastery in Woodinville [WA] says he's working to meet recent King County requests for more information... The Buddhists have until Sept. 3 to file the additional information, said Sherie Sabour, a King County project planner. Sabour said if all the information is not complete, she would expect to grant a 30-day extension... Monday was the deadline for interested parties to comment to Sabour. Neighbors have complained the building would be too large, inviting too much traffic and noise on a quiet rural street."
