On May 3, 2003 The Sikh Council On Religion reported that "The Sikh Council On Religion & Education (SCORE) worked this week to reintroduce its commitment to religious freedom and tolerance in the workplace through its support of the Workplace Religious Freedom Act at a meeting held among key policymakers and religious groups April 28... 'WRFA is a very important measure with regard to the right of all Americans to worship freely,' says SCORE National Chairman Dr. Rajwant Singh. 'It reminds us that as long as an employee is performing his or her duties effectively, clothing, holy days and other religion honored action should be respected by the employer. Unfortunately, we are finding too many cases where tolerance and acceptance of religious freedom is threatened.'"
