Starting Feb. 21, the Surrey Neighbouring Faiths Program – an informal, grassroots network of members from 11 local faith communities – will offer families the chance to learn about the faith traditions of their neighbours.
The Early Explorers program takes children and families on tours to the gathering places of nine different faith communities.
Children participate in age-appropriate activities to learn about the people and practices of each tradition, and parents have the opportunity to ask questions.
This year, SNFP will also be collaborating with other local organizations to develop multi-faith resources for families.
