Three More Men Arrested in Connection with NY Sikh Hate Crime

On July 27, 2004 Newsday reported, "Three men were arrested yesterday and charged with taking part in a brutal attack on a Sikh spiritual leader in Queens on July 11, police said. Terence Lyons, 53, of Elmont, and Victor Cosentino, 58, and Nicholas Maceli, 22, both of Valley Stream, were arrested on charges of gang assault, assault, hate crimes and aggravated harassment, police said. They join Maceli's brother, Salvatore, 26, of Valley Stream, who was picked up on similar charges July 12 in the beating of Rajinder Singh Khalsa, 54."
