Eight men have assaulted two Buddhist monks and stolen religious books, cash and passports in an attack on a monastery in Adelaide, police say.
Just after 2am (CDST) on Wednesday morning two car loads of men arrived at the Waterloo Corner monastery and smashed their way into one of the rooms.
