Temple Expansion Plan Advances

The controversial Hindu temple expansion project advanced Monday night as township officials gave plans the go-ahead.

After more than two hours of discussion, planning commissioners reluctantly recommended, 5-0, approval of site plans for the construction of a 35,000-square-foot temple with twin domes, 25-foot-high walls and 300 parking spaces.
