Jarnail Sahota believes he will be the first turbanned Sikh to carry the Olympic torch in Canada when he hoists the flame on Feb. 6 in Ashcroft.
The 54-year-old Surrey businessman says it's the perfect way to cap a quarter century in Canada since immigrating here from India.
"It's really exciting for me," he said. "I'm really proud to be a Canadian Sikh."
