A couple have said 50,000 worshippers have been welcomed to their Essex home after they turned their spare bedroom into a Hindu temple.
Adorned with 17 Hindu gods, Sushila and Dhirajlal Karia's bedroom in a quiet Clacton street was inaugurated in 1979.
The couple said they made the changes to the 10ft x 7ft room as there was nowhere else in the area to worship.
Since then the couple have welcomed pilgrims from all over the world for blessings in their home.
