On May 17, 2006 a PR Web Press Release reported, "The programmes of Guru Nanak Daata Baksh Lai Mission, Chandigarh, which were being shown in the UK and Europe since November, 2005, will now be expanded in coverage to include the Asia Pacific area. The programmes start telecasting in the Asia Pacific from May 14, 2006. These programmes will be available on the main 'Zee TV' channel every Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. (Singapore Time) or 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. (Indian Standard Time). ZEE International approached the Guru Nanak Daata Baksh Lai Mission after viewing its spiritual programmes on the Mission’s Web sites, with a request for telecasting the same abroad. The programmes were started on Alpha ETC Punjabi in the UK and Europe in November, 2005. Upon getting a most encouraging response from the audience in Europe, ZEE International wished these to be shown in the Asia Pacific area."
