On May 1, 2004 The Contra Costa Times published an inteview with Balvinder Singh, "one of four priests at the Sri Guru Ravidass Temple in Pittsburg, CA. The temple attracts Sikhs throughout the Bay Area and holds a large service on Sundays where one family within the congregation is celebrated and prepares a meal shared with all." In the interview, Singh insists that ignorance agains Sikhism can be transformed through the media, though an interfaith dialogue, through Internet Web sites, and through the educational system that we have so we can incorporate some of the teachings and writing about Sikhism from elementary school and onwards."
