Blackburn's Sikh temple has asked local police to beef up patrols in the wake of an arson attack on a smaller temple last week.
Temple president Darshan Singh asked police to increase security patrols around the Blackburn place of worship on Whitehorse Rd after an arson attack on a Lynbrook facility.
Mr Singh said the Sikh temple, which is the state’s largest, had not had any security problems but he was fearful the violence could spread.
