The Office of Multicultural and International Student Services will bring some “UniDiversity” to campus beginning Monday with a week of activities designed to educate students on different aspects of religious awareness.

“This semester ‘Religions Around The World’ will focus on religious tolerance, which is especially important given the political and cultural clashes we see on the news every day,” said Ashley McDonough, MISS program coordinator.

“It is important for college students today to learn about the world outside of what they might be used to,” she said. “There are so many cultures and beliefs that make up the world’s cultures and it is important of be aware of those things as educated college students.”

“Religion and Food” will kick off the week of events on Monday, during which students can learn more about the five major religions practiced around the world, from noon until 2 p.m. in the Lowman Student Center Mall Area.
