The court issued a sentence against three Baha’is of Yasuj who have been under arrest for approximately one month; they were accused of teaching the Baha’i Faith.
According to the Baha’i Committee of Human Rights Activists in Iran, according to this sentence, Mr. Ali Bakhsh Bazr-Afkan has been sentenced to two and a half years of imprisonment followed by 5 years of exile to a remote locality far from the Province of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad [the province of which Yasuj is the capital]. Mr. Saeed Faridi and Zafar Mohammadi, who were Muslim employees [of Mr. Ali Bakhsh Bazr-Afkan], were sentenced to 4 years of probation [1], and they were subsequently released.
