A visiting speaker this week will share "the rules of engagement" for interfaith dialogue during a program sponsored by Congregation Beth Sholom-Chevra Shas, Pebble Hill Presbyterian Church, Syracuse University's Hendrick's Chapel and the Syracuse Jewish Federation.

Rabbi Arnold Resnicoff, a career Navy chaplain, will speak about the importance of interfaith dialogue in times of crisis at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Pebble Hill Presbyterian Church, 5299 Jamesville Road, DeWitt.

Resnicoff is a consultant on interfaith values and interreligious affairs. Now retired, he earned the Defense Superior Service Medal for his work with military and civilian leaders throughout Europe, Africa, and the Mideast while serving as the command chaplain for the U.S. European Command; and he is a former National Director of Interreligious Affairs for the American Jewish Committee.
