On December 25, 2003 the Howard County Times reported on the near completion of $1.5 million expansion and renovation project of the Owen Brown Interfaith Center in Columbia, Maryland. The center is a site where Christians, Muslims, Buddhists and Jews share worship space, and now includes a striking two-story glass facade. The Owen Brown facility was the fourth interfaith center to open in Columbia. The others are in Wilde Lake, Oakland Mills and Long Reach, with two others in the works for Kings Contrivance and River Hill.
