On August 18, 2003 the Oklahoma Daily reported that "many religions can be found in the Norman [OK] community. In addition to Christian churches like the Roman Catholic, Methodist, Baptist and Mormon churches, Norman includes many residents of other faiths, including Jews, Muslims, Bahá'í, Buddhists and Hindus. For some, the search for meaning begins and ends satisfactorily in the religion of their youth. Perhaps as a result of this spiritual undercurrent, more Americans are turning toward traditional religious beliefs in a search for meaning."
