On September 17, 2004 Vanderbilt Hustler reported, "a $10,000 grant given by the United Methodist Church this year will enable members of the Vanderbilt community to explore the differing viewpoints on faith and spirituality. Faith Project is an effort to gather stories of faith and weave them into a performance of monologues by this Spring. The project will be directed by the Vanderbilt Wesley/Canterbury Fellowship, including Reverend Mark Forrester and Artistic Director Vali Forrister, who has recently helped produce The Vagina Monologues here at Vanderbilt... The monologues will not focus on theology, but rather, on narratives. These stories will be drawn from many different sources in the community. The group plans to contact other campus ministries, the Interfaith Council, and 'anyone who hears about it and wants to share their story,' said Forrister."
