On October 8, 2005 The Tennessean reported, "A New Hampshire couple hopes presenting a centuries-old love story as a backdrop for mankind's quest for enlightenment appeals to people of all ages. Wendy and Marty Quinn are presenting The Seven Valleys at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center's Andrew Johnson Theater. The play, on Thursday, yesterday and today, blends the centuries-old Middle Eastern love story of Layla (or Layli) and Majnun, a metaphor for a spiritual odyssey toward God with text from the Bahá'i faith founder Bahá'u'lláh's mystical writings, The Seven Valleys, written about 1855."
