On July 3, 2003 The Columbus Dispatch reported that "activists of several faiths were trying yesterday to decide how best to show support for local [OH] religious bodies whose buildings were vandalized this week... Sometime between Sunday evening and Monday morning, three Jewish-owned buildings and a Roman Catholic nursing home were sprayed with messages that denounced Christians, Jews and Muslims... 'It was a bizarre attack on religious people in general,' said the Rev. Skip Cornett, director of the Center for Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning at Trinity Lutheran Seminary... He is spokesman for an ad-hoc interfaith group that plans to gather next week 'to demonstrate to the community that when this happens to one of our faith groups, it happens to all of us,' he said."
