Ganesh is among the most well-known and worshipped deities in Hinduism.

Ganesh paintings, statues, ornaments and other decorations can be found in many Indian homes.

The Asian Cultural Association of Florida is bringing this important part of Hindu culture to the Webber Center at Central Florida Community College as “The Art of Ganesh.” The exhibit opened Friday.

Numerous photographs and Ganesh sculptures that illustrate the importance of the popular “good-luck god” are among the 65 to 70 pieces that make up the exhibit.
