Representative Don Davis, a white Republican...said he didn't consider the letter racist...'Whose brand of Christianity is this? It's not mine,' [state Senator William Martin, a black Democrat] wrote. Representative Ron Sutton, an American Indian, said he had no use for such sentiments in the Statehouse."
