On December 12, 2004 The Metro West Daily News reported, "they're Congregationalists, Baptists, Catholics, Jews, Unitarians and Episcopalians. Some are city dwellers turned suburbanites. Others are immigrants new to America. Many are novice community organizers. All live in MetroWest and believe their spiritual calling has the power to inspire meaningful systemic change if they form one voice. But for now, the members of the newly formed Metropolitan Interfaith Congregations Action for Hope, or MICAH, are trying to get to know each other and their many neighbors."
