On April 5, 2006 the Associated Press reported, "It was a premium pay-TV channel reaching ten-thousand households a year ago. Today, 'Bridges TV' is a basic-cable offering on several cable and satellite systems, viewed in more than a million U.S. homes. 'Bridges TV' features Muslim-American lifestyle and cultural programming. It can be seen in markets including Detroit, Chicago, Boston and Washington. The cable channel produces a daily, hour-long newscast at its studio in suburban Buffalo, New York. Broadcasts also include children's educational programming, current affairs, cooking and travel shows, soccer and cricket matches, documentaries and sitcoms. Ford Motor Company is a major sponsor."
