A new multi-faith chaplaincy service has been set up for hospital patients and visitors in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.
Leaders from all denominations will come together this week to provide a range of services to believers of all faiths.
The service will operate in all nine hospitals run by the Cardiff and Vale NHS Trust and is aimed at responding to an increasingly diverse religious landscape.
Under the new service a duty chaplain will be available for anyone who needs one, regardless of faith.
And a team of religious leaders, including a rabbi, Buddhist priest and imam, will be available to respond at short notice to any special religious needs.
