On March 4, 2004 The Kansas City Star reported, "Some consider discussing religion taboo in the company of strangers. But nearly 400 women of all faiths got together Wednesday at the Overland Park Marriott for a forum to address religious differences and similarities. The forum, 'Defining Women's Roles ...Three Traditions' allowed three female panelists — one Muslim, one Jewish and one Christian — to discuss their faiths. The event was sponsored by the National Council of Jewish Women, a volunteer community service organization."
