Minister and Bishop Defend LDS Church on ACLU Governmental Influence Lawsuit

On August 17, 2003 the Deseret Morning News reported that a Prebyterian minister and a Catholic bishop agreed that the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) had gone too far in filing a suit against the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints that claimed the LDS Church's Salt Lake City "Main Street Plaza settlement created a potentially unconstitutional influence on city government."
