On February 28, 2003 the India Abroad reported that the February 15 anti-war protest in New York City "included several hundred South Asian protesters, some of whom had arrived from as far away as Boston, Washington DC, Colorado and Ohio. There was a range of ages and professions marching, from theater groups and lawyers to computer professionals and stockbrokers... An Indian peace chant was among the voices of protest."
