On January 19, 2004 Yahoo! News posted an Associated Press article that reported, "Pakistani police seized a huge cache of explosives and arrested one man in connection with the car bombing of a Christian organization that wounded 15 people. The suspect, Shamim Ahmed, was arrested Saturday. He then provided information leading police to a bomb-making factory in an abandoned house in this southern port city Sunday night, authorities said.On Thursday, a grenade and a powerful car bomb exploded at the Pakistan Bible Society, a Christian reading room that also distributes Bibles. Police say Ahmed is affiliated with the Islamic militant group Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, which has been blamed for attacks that have killed hundreds of people."
