In April, 2003 Spirituality and Health reported that Julie Moyers, a local resident of Red Feather Lake, Colorado, visited the largest Stupa in North America located right in her hometown. "The Great Stupa of Dharmakaya, in Red Feather Lakes, Colorado, is the largest in North America. Stupas are typically open to people of any religion. While some are large enough to include inside rooms, most are completely enclosed. Both types are thought to provide enlightenment to those who simply view them."
