On May 5, 2006 The Clarion-Ledger reported, "To help build support for an interfaith Habitat for Humanity house building project, local religious groups will host a 'festival of faiths' from 3:30-6:30 p.m. Saturday at Northminster Baptist Church on Ridgewood Road in Jackson. The event will feature food, music, dancing and presentations that reflect the cultural traditions of the faith groups that will work together later this month building a Habitat house in Jackson. 'We really wanted to do more than teach tolerance of one another,' said Todd Watson, associate minister at Wells United Methodist Church in Jackson. 'We wanted to know one another.' The build is the first time local Christians, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs and Unitarian Universalists will be collaborating on a Habitat for Humanity House."
