The proposed construction of Park51, the Islamic Center near Ground Zero, has been making headlines all summer; for some students at NYU, the heightened sentiment of "Islamaphobia" has hit close to home.

WSN recently conducted an unscientific poll and asked "What do you think about the proposed Islamic Center near Ground Zero?" While 54 percent of respondents of the mostly liberal student body said "It has every right to be there," 30 percent said "They have a right, but it's in poor taste." Seven percent said "I don't want it at all," 6 percent said "They should move it farther away," while 3 percent said they "Don't care."
