On June 2, 2003 The Patriot-News reported that "Dr. Mukund Kulkarni smiled when he told his audience of Christians, Baha'is and Islamic believers that Hinduism is a faith without a single founder, specific theological system or single system of morality... There was little confusion yesterday among those who came to the [Interfaith Center of Greater Harrisburg] to learn about another faith group. The center, which recently had its first anniversary, celebrates both uniqueness and oneness, said the Rev. Cynthia Mara, one of the founders... She said that the Harrisburg area [PA], 'rich in religious diversity,' has embraced the center using interfaith worship, sharing and education during its meetings at 3 p.m. the first Sunday of each month at the International House."
