Doha Center for Interfaith Dialogue strives for constructive dialogue between followers of different faiths, according to an expert. These dialogues helps foster a better understanding and harnessing of distinct religious principles and teachings to the benefit of all humanity, the DICID chairman Dr. Ibrahim Al Naimi said during a Ramadan Suhour event held at the Diplomatic Club, yesterday.
"Our vision is to be a leading model in achieving peaceful coexistence between followers of different faiths and an international reference for interfaith dialogue," Dr Al Naimi said.
The gathering was attended by personalities including diplomats, leaders of the Christian denominations in Qatar and professors at Qatar University.
