An Indian spiritual leader has been honoured for his work on peace, spiritualism and religious tolerance by a US state of California.
Jain muni Lokprakash Lokesh, founder of Ahimsa Vishva Bharti, who recently undertook a global peace march to promote religious harmony and peace, was presented ‘Key of the City’ by the Mayor Joe Esteves of Milpitas in a ceremony in New York.
Lokesh was honoured for his work on the cause of peace, non violence, spiritualism and religious tolerance, said Esteves.
