Hindu Temple Expands in Kansas City

On April 7, 2004 The Kansas City Star reported, "A plan to expand the Hindu Temple and Cultural Center of Kansas City, in Shawnee, was approved by the Shawnee Planning Commission on Monday.Stan Hernly, architect with Hernly Associates Inc., said the main goal of the plan is to expand worship and fellowship space in the center at 6330 Lackman Road. About 11,000 square feet will be added to the south side of the existing 8,000-square-foot building."
