On August 23, 2005 The Post Bulletin reported, "About 70 people from various Minnesota communities came to Rochester on Saturday to teach children about Hindu values and to allow adults to reconnect with one another... Adults discussed Hindu values, practiced yoga and talked about things that are good for society, while children played games and took part in activities." The Hindu Heritage Camp is an annual event intended to promote "universal brotherhood."
