On November 2, 2003 the Atlanta Journal-Constitution profiled Donna Passaro, an Atlanta Wiccan who celebrates the festiival of Samhain on Halloween each year. "'It's the highest holiday for us,' said Passaro, 'high priestess' of the Harvest Hearth coven in Norcross. 'Imagine the holiday of Christmas -- the trimming of the tree, the midnight service, the family dinner. Samhain is the same thing. It's where we give thanksgiving for the year's bounty.'...Passaro has made paganism a lifestyle. She runs the Blessed Bee, an online pagan retail store, out of the basement of her home in Norcross. Customers worldwide buy pentacles, caldrons, herbs, ritual kits and other items. 'There are thousands of Wiccans' in metro Atlanta, Passaro said.'Within a one-mile radius of where we're sitting are dozens of them -- that I know of.'"
