Habitat for Humanity constructs homes all the time, but in Pierce County a special build is pulling in volunteers from various religious groups.

At the "Interfaith Build" in the Tacoma Habitat neighborhood, the families who live there all come from different spiritual and cultural backgrounds.

Habitat spokeswoman Maureen Fife says volunteers on the build are Jewish, Muslim, Christian, and Native American. "There are five different languages spoken there, there will be forty kids in the neighborhood, there will be five different ethnic backgrounds there."
