On July 9, 2005 Greenwich Time reported, "The Greenwich Multi-Faith Forum, a British interfaith organization that promotes religious tolerance, expressed its condolences to bombing victims and their families.
'We support all the people who suffer,' said Saeed Ahmad, the forum's general secretary.
The forum issued a statement jointly with Greenwich's law enforcement, political and religious leaders, denouncing the blasts as the actions of 'an extreme minority who do not reflect in any way the views or sentiments of those faith communities based in Greenwich and the (United Kingdom)'...
Ahmad vowed that his organization, which includes Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists and [Baha'is], would work with authorities to find the group responsible for the London attack. He urged all Britons to do likewise."
