The Freedom from Religion Foundation filed a claim last week that President Bush in conjunction with the Evangelical based Focus on the Family group who runs the National Day of Prayer Task Force is breaking the nation's First Amendment.
In the lawsuit, the Freedom from Religion Foundation claims that the Day of Prayer creates a "hostile environment for non-believers who are made to feel as if they are political outsiders." The group is comprised of American atheists, agnostics and freethinkers from various religions.
