The godless are hitting the road.

Fifty Madison Metro buses are now displaying six different interior advertising messages from prominent non-believers, thanks to a campaign sponsored by the Freedom From Religion Foundation, based in Madison.

The messages range from actress Butterfly McQueen's "As my ancestors are free from slavery, I am free from the slavery of religion," to actress Katharine Hepburn's "I'm an atheist and that's it...I believe that there's nothing we can know except that we should be kind to each other and do what we can for other people."
