A potpourri of different faiths will join against religious intolerance this Thursday.
Representatives from faiths including Islam, Hinduism, Bahai, Buddhism and different denominations of Christianity will meet for Monash’s inaugural Interfaith Forum, in Clayton.
The religious leaders and followers would bring ideas for inclusion and social events like interfaith festivals and forums in the hopes of providing a support network to combat religious intolerance and exclusion, said Monash Interfaith Gathering chairman Jim Aylmer.
Mr Aylmer said he wanted to find out what was happening within the different religious communities in Monash, so that people could get help if there were any concerns.
